TERMS OF USE

  status.live is free for personal and non-commercial use: the
  website, the MCP servers and anything else served from
  status.live. Commercial use needs a license: write to
  info@status.live.


COMMERCIAL USE
  Commercial use is using status.live, or data from it, in or
  for something that earns money or serves a business, for
  example:
  - a product, app or site that is sold, has paid plans or shows
    ads;
  - a company's internal tools, dashboards or AI assistants;
  - reselling, republishing or redistributing the data.

  Non-commercial use is free, for example:
  - checking conditions for your own trips, in a browser, with
    curl or through your own AI assistant;
  - personal projects, research and teaching that don't earn
    money.

FAIR USE
  - Stay within the rate limits (see
    https://status.live/llms.txt). Don't work around them or copy
    the pages in bulk; ask if you need more.
  - Where you show data from status.live, credit "status.live"
    with a link, and keep the original sources' credits
    (https://status.live/credits).
  - Don't present status.live as official resort, park or
    government information, or as your own.


NOT FOR SAFETY DECISIONS
  The data comes from resorts' own websites, government agencies
  and other sources, read automatically. It can be late,
  incomplete or wrong, and lifts, roads, trails and the water
  change faster than any page. Don't rely on status.live for
  your safety or for navigation: check the official source, obey
  closures and signs, and on the water use official forecasts
  and charts. Weather and snow figures are model estimates, not
  measurements. Maps are not official maps.


NO WARRANTY
  status.live is provided "as is", without warranties of any
  kind. As far as the law allows, its operators are not liable
  for any loss or damage from using it or relying on it. The
  service can change, be limited or stop at any time.


THE DATA
  Data from other sources stays theirs, under their own terms
  and licenses, listed at https://status.live/credits:
  Open-Meteo's forecasts are CC BY 4.0, OpenStreetMap data is
  ODbL, NOAA, NWS and NPS data are public domain. A commercial
  license from status.live covers status.live's service; some
  sources may need their own agreement for commercial use.

  Resorts, parks and other operators: to have your information
  shown differently, or not at all, write to info@status.live.


PRIVACY
  No accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies. What is kept:
  - page views: counted by Umami (cloud.umami.is), without
    cookies;
  - MCP requests: the endpoint, method, tool, the client's user
    agent and country are counted, with no IP addresses; request
    logs, kept up to 7 days, include each tool's arguments (the
    resort or park asked about);
  - the feedback form: your message, the page, your country and
    your email if you give one; we get it by email;
  - in your browser: only your °C or °F choice.

  Cloudflare, which runs status.live, handles IP addresses to
  serve requests and apply the rate limits.


CHANGES
  These terms may change; the date above says when. Using
  status.live after a change means accepting the new terms.
